Standard royalties for authors of traditionally published books is generally between 10% and, in rare cases 25%. At Tower Room, our royalty rate for authors starts at 50%.
After our novels are selected and vetted, we create kickstarters to fund the publishing process, relying our community to choose and fund the stories they want to bring to life. This ensures the author can remain true to their vision, and the community is invested in the stories we publish.
Tower Room Publishing does not use generative AI in any part of the aquisition, editing, or production process. All of our books area human generated.
We also do not accept manuscripts where generative AI was used.
Unfortunately, there is no current software or technique to accurately filter AI from manuscript submissions. Our editors do their best to screen each submission but, currently, the only foolproof method to determine whether generative AI was used is by admission of the author, submitted evidence, or prompts left inside the text. Any of those things are grounds to sever the publisher/author relationship.
Shipping
Electronic goods, like ebooks, audiobooks, and digital book boxes are delivered immediately via Bookfunnel.
Physical goods printed via an independent press can range anywhere from 2-4 weeks, depending on complexity.
Others may ship as early as 3-4 days from the time of ordering.
